4. Short Grammar Notes

  1. Conditionals with “If … then let me know”

    • If that ain’t you, then let me know” uses a simplified/colloquial conditional structure. In standard grammar, it might be: “If that is not you, then let me know.
    • “Ain’t” is informal for “am not / is not / are not.”
  2. Imperatives
